The Christmas Bakery is open for the season at Blooms and Berries Farm Market (Thurs.-Sun., 9am-5pm). The farm’s bakers make fruit pies from scratch, including seasonal signatures like Dutch Caramel Apple and Vanilla Bourbon Cranberry Apple, alongside Christmas Cookies, Cheesecakes, Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread, Apple Bread, Dinner Rolls, and savory Chicken Pot Pies. Things to do in Cincinnati for December
ESSENTIALS FOR MONDAY (12-2-24):

Monday’s Do: Have you always wanted to learn to play chess? Or perhaps you’re hoping to up your game? CCPF chess instructors will be at the Main Library on Monday, 2-4pm, for Chess Instruction. Meet at the tables near Adult Fiction on One South.
SIGN UP:
Say farewell to fall and hello to winter with a morning hike at Long Branch Farm & Trails. Cincinnati Nature Center has a Winter Solstice Hike and Coffee event coming up on December 21, 8-9:30am. Pre-registration required.
Grab tickets to see Tower A at Union Terminal on December 20 and 21 (multiple times offered). Union Terminal’s Tower A was the command center for the daily 216 trains that brought thousands of travelers safely in and out of Union Terminal. Today, the room overlooks the active intermodal yard which brings cargo containers to our region. Note: There are approximately 35 steep steps to Tower A. No selfie sticks or tripods permitted. Tickets required.
The Haile Planetarium at NKU has a holiday themed show this year - Holiday Wonderland Laser Show. This family friendly event mixes up the nostalgia of classic holiday tunes meets the magic of laser technology. It happens on select Dec. Friday nights, 8:30-9:30pm. Tickets required.
The American Sign Museum is home to Signs and Songs Holiday: Daniel Bennet and the Dirty Shirleys. Happening on Wed., December 11, this holiday event will allow you to celebrate the season amidst the glow of signs. Suit clad and chops rich, Daniel Bennett and the Dirty Shirleys lay down a swinging performance that evokes the neon buzz of a martini high on the 1950s Vegas Strip.
