More Christmas Classics coming your way! Regal Cinemas will show the following movies on the big screen over the next week or two: Elf, Polar Express, Christmas Vacation, and The Grinch. Tickets are just $5.

Cincinnati Observatory is hosting a Mommy and Me Craft Day on December 16, 2-4pm. The program will include 2 crafts, tours, safe solar viewing (weather permitting), and holiday refreshments! And be sure to take a holiday photo by the Observatory’s special Galaxy Tree. Great for ages 4+.

Winton Woods’ Adventure Outpost will be home to a Dec. 29 event, Woodland Walk and Outdoor Archery. Experience the joys of the great outdoors paired with invigorating exercise and a bit of target practice. First, we will warm up with a short hike. Then a USA Archery instructor will guide you through the basics of shooting a compound bow before giving the outdoor range a shot! All equipment is provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Advance registration required.

Holiday magic is happening at Cincinnati Christkindlmarkt! This enchanting Christmas festival features an ice slide, igloos, fire pits, holiday lights, a variety of great eats, choral entertainment, themed character visits, unique vendors, and more. Open Wednesdays to Sundays through Dec. 31 (closed Christmas Day).

From button makers to laser engravers to sewing machines to UV printers, you can create to your heart’s content.

Use of the machines is free. Some of the machines require additional materials that can be purchase at the library for a small fee.

Be sure to reserve your spot before you head out to the library. In fact, plan ahead if you’ll be using one of the more popular machines.

12/5-12/17: Mrs. Doubtfire is coming to the Aronoff Center, presented by Broadway in Cincinnati.

12-8: Crib of the Nativity, the live nativity scene that’s out in the lawn of the Krohn Conservatory, will be open and ready for visitors, 9am-9pm. Free.

12/9-12/10: City Flea will be at Factory 52 (Norwood) for their Holiday Market, 12-4pm both days. They’ll have 50+ vendors and will have new vendors each day. Shop local at this outdoors event.

12-9: It’s the holly jolliest bunch of Santas you’ll see! It’s time for the 16th Annual Santacon!

12-12: A Balloon Glow will be happening in Middletown starting at 7pm. Come out and watch some of Southwest Ohio's balloon pilots light up the night sky. Weather dependent.
