Goodnight, Tuesday.
together with The Christmas Bakery
Are you knee deep in cooking and turkey prep? Are you looking for some ideas that might make the next holiday a bit easier? I have some news that you might like!
Blooms and Berries Farm Market will have a new Christmas Bakery this year. The farm’s Market Barn will reopen for the Christmas season (Nov. 29 - Dec. 22, Thurs.-Sun) and will have all sorts of goodies MADE FROM SCRATCH right there on the farm. If you’ve ever been to any of their season events (Strawberry Days, Fall on the Farm, etc.), you know just how good their baked goods are!
The Christmas Bakery at Blooms and Berries will open for the season on Friday, November 29. You can go into the Market Barn and shop in person (Nov. 29 - Dec. 22, Thurs.-Sun), picking out your baked goods and taking them home.
The Christmas Bakery offerings include: frozen (but made in-house) pies, Christmas cookies, cheesecakes, Cranberry Orange Bread, dinner rolls, and savory Chicken Pot Pies. A few things will need to can be ordered in advance: cookie trays and fresh baked pies.
Leave some time to explore their selection of preserves, local honey, inexpensive stocking stuffers, chocolates, and Christmas candies - perfect for gifting or enjoying yourself.
⏰ The Christmas Bakery is open Thursdays - Sundays, Nov. 29 - Dec. 22. Hours are 9 am - 5 pm.

ESSENTIALS FOR WEDNESDAY (11-27-24):
Weather: Afternoon showers with a high of 46° | 49% chance of precipitation
Wednesday’s Do: This isn’t really an event per se but more of a suggestion. One of my favorite things to do, when time allows, is to plan a last minute shopping trip to Findlay Market on the morning before Thanksgiving. I get some fresh food, pick up something from Blue Oven Bakery, and then pick up something to take home for supper (because who wants to cook a new meal on Wednesday?!) at Pho Lang Thang.
SIGN UP:
Registration opens tomorrow/Wednesday for Adult Craft Night: Pop-up Holiday Cards, a free workshop at the Blue Ash Library. All supplies are provided. Registration required (and it will fill up). The event happens on December 12, 6-7:30pm.
DVD Brewing (Loveland) is hosting a Chili Cook Off on Sunday, December 15 starting at 2pm. Want to enter your chili? Registration must be submitted by December 1st.
Enjoy the holiday classics of Frank, Dean, and Sammy in the swingin’ style of a Cincinnati crooner at “Christmas with the Rat Pack Featuring Old Green Eyes”, an event at Memorial Hall. Tickets are inexpensive and still available. The show is on Monday, December 9 starting at 7pm.
