Thursdayâs Do: Weâve had a LOT of rainy Thursdays this month! It looks like that will change this week and the Cincinnati Zoo will finally get to have Tunes and Blooms! Do you bake a great pie? Get yourself signed up for the Pie Baking Competition, happening this Saturday at Brink Brewing. Theyâre accepting homemade pies in three categories: sweet, savory, and fruit. See all the details at the link.
Professional pie judging will be held from 12-1 p.m.
Pie-loving civilians may judge for the Peopleâs Choice Award from 12-2:30 p.m.

Berry good news coming your way! Itâs almost strawberry picking time! Blooms and Berries Farm Market hosts Strawberry Days each year. The event runs for just a few weeks and includes strawberry picking in their fields, their farm play yard will be open, and theyâll have a variety of live music and food trucks on site for the weekends.

You can see Cincinnati Art Museumâs special exhibition, âWhitfield Lovell: Passagesâ for free on Thursday nights in April, 5-8pm. The museum offers free general admission every day with special exhibitions typically requiring admission.
FAMILY FRIENDLY đÂ
The NKU Planetarium has free public shows on Friday evenings. The show for April 17 is âMaking of a Star and Her Entourageâ, 7-8pm. Discover how human thought and understanding have changed dramatically over the centuries and explore how stars form and how x-rays from the forming star may impede the formation of planetary systems. Doors open 30 minutes before the start of the show. Seats are first come, first served. No reservations required. Donations accepted with a suggested donation of $5/person.
