Do you have New Year’s Eve plans? We have a list that might help! It includes both family-friendly and adults only events for the big day (or should I say the big night?). Here are some spots to herald in 2024:

Grab your tickets for “Cincinnati’s King Records: A Musical History - featuring Ben Levin”, happening January 8. Enjoy an evening of music and stories about Cincinnati’s King Records, which produced some of the finest rhythm and blues in the 1950s and 1960s. The show will be led by Cincinnati native and recent UC grad Ben Levin, who has performed this music professionally since he was 16 and will be teaching an OLLI course on the history of King Records in Fall 2023.

Kickstart your new year’s resolution with a Power Hike, happening on December 26 at Winton Woods, 10am-noon. Join Adventure Outpost Instructors for a power hike where you’ll trek 1.1 miles (or more) and tackle the various fitness elements. Participants will depart with some sweet swag. For ages 10 and up. Registration required.

Madcap Puppets will present “Annie Oakley’s Wild West Show” on January 27, 11am. Come have a rootin’ tootin’ shootin’ good time telling stories with Ohio’s favorite gal, Annie Oakley! Hear Midwest classic tall tales like Johnny Appleseed and meet giant puppet Buffalo Bill and Paul Bunyan. The performance happens at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center. Tickets required.
