New Year’s Eve is right around the corner. We have a great list going for NYE events. It has some family friendly events AND a growing list of adult parties. Most require a ticket purchase so don’t delay in making your plans.

Monday’s Do: It’s Mascot Monday at the Summit Park Ice Rink. Monday’s mascots will be Cincinnati Reds’ Mr. Redlegs and Rosie Red. You can visit with the local mascots at the ice rink from 5:30pm-7pm.

Clifton Cultural Arts Center is offering a Family Workshop: Shadow Puppets on January 13, 10am-noon. Create unique characters and settings to tell an imaginative story of your own with the magic of puppets and light. Best for kids ages 4+ with an adult.

If you don’t mind a bit of a drive, this event looks like a great way to celebrate the season.

Christmas at Mustard Seed Hill is a spectacular holiday tradition in Millersburg, Kentucky; just 30 minutes north of Lexington in the heart of Bourbon County. This year’s programming includes a Light Display, Gingerbread House Exhibit, Artisan's Market, Holiday Tent and Cafe, Christmas Campfire Reservations, Live Music, and more.

They also have campfires and holiday themed classes so be sure to look through the dates.

12/5-12/17: Mrs. Doubtfire is now playing at the Aronoff Center, presented by Broadway in Cincinnati. This is a great show - go if you can!

12-12: A Balloon Glow will be happening in Middletown starting at 7pm. Come out and watch some of Southwest Ohio's balloon pilots light up the night sky. Weather dependent.

12/16: It’s the last Downtown Dazzle for 2023! See Santa rappel from a Cincinnati skyrise and wait with anticipation for the sky to fill with a fabulous fireworks display.

12/20-12/22: Train Days at Heritage Village Museum
