Registration opens on Friday, December 15 at noon for a Winter Tree Identification Walking Tour at Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum. Spring Grove horticulturists will lead a winter tree identification walking tour through the historic grounds. The tour itself is happening on January 13, 2024, 1-3pm. Registration required.

Civic Garden Center is offering a class on Basic Organic Vegetable Gardening: Soils, Plots, and Planters. Registration is now open and the class is on February 21, 6-8pm. The classes at Civic Garden Center always fill up so grab a ticket while you can!

The Cincinnati Observatory is hosting Family Astronomy Night on Saturday, December 30, 7-8:30pm. Geared for families with children 5-12 years old, Family Astronomy Night will include viewing through a telescope (if clear), a tour of the Observatory, and a hands-on space activity or craft. December’s theme is “Winter Constellations”. Tickets required.

'Tis the season for Broadway!
Tickets make great gifts, and this season has something for everyone.
Whether you want a fun night out with the family to see a story including your favorite Scottish nanny, or a girls night with the six ex-wives of Henry VIII, you're sure to experience Broadway magic at the Aronoff Center.

GOOD TO KNOW:

Here’s a bit of sad news to report - Coney Island will permanently close at the end of this year.

The park has announced they will cease operations on December 31, 2023 (last day for Coney Island’s Nights of Lights).

The park has been purchased by Music and Event Management Inc. (MEMI) and they plan to turn the space into a music venue.

12/5-12/17: Mrs. Doubtfire is coming to the Aronoff Center, presented by Broadway in Cincinnati.

12/16: It’s the last Downtown Dazzle for 2023! See Santa rappel from a Cincinnati skyrise and wait with anticipation for the sky to fill with a fabulous fireworks display.

12/17: Head to the Taft Museum of Art on Sunday for Holiday Family Funday | Jazzy Holiday, 10am – 4pm. Explore the Taft’s decked out halls and celebrate the holidays with the whole family at this free event. You can create a jazz-inspired ornament, enjoy live music, explore the museum, and more.
