Sunday February 4
Hello Cincinnati!
Happy Sunday, friends! Isn’t it nice to see the sun lately?
I have a couple of timely things to share with you this week.
Know someone who’s looking for a great summer camp? Registrations are open for LOTS of camps already! Take a look through our long list of options and see what looks fun for your little people.
And Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! We have a long list of fun ways to celebrate the holiday of love - whether it’s with your special someone, your gal pal, or just for you!
Highlights For This Week:
Monday, Feb. 5: Jazz at the MEMO presents “Mambo Combo - Cuba and Puerto Rico do Carnival Too!”. This event at Memorial Hall is a great way to experience live music in a GORGEOUS venue and at a great price! Tickets are just $6-$8 for this one!
Tuesday, Feb. 6: Grab your tickets for a Winter Succulent Class, happening at Taft’s Brewpourium, 6-7pm. Join the Flower Lady and learn how to make a hanging winter moss succulent (also known as a Kokedama). Tickets required.
Wednesday, Feb. 7: Cincy Hikes will be hiking at Summit Park starting at 4:30pm. They’ll follow the hike with a Book Club meeting at Higher Gravity (at Summit Park) starting at 6pm. February's book is Into Thin Air by John Krakauer. This is a free event but they do ask that you register.
Thursday, Feb. 8: Cincinnati Museum Center hosts “Off the Rails": Science of Love Edition”, 7-10pm. This 21 and up after hours event will explore the chemistry behind great chemistry. Off the Rails After Hours combines your childhood nostalgia with a cash bar and sprinkle of A Night at the Museum. Tickets required.
Mark Your Calendar:
Head to Covington for the 2024 Mainstrasse Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday, February 10. The parade begins at 7pm starting at the corner of W9th/Main and ends at the corner of W5th/Main.
If you’re looking to add a new four legged friend to the mix, you won’t want to miss the My Furry Valentine Mega Adoption Event happening on February 17-18.
There’s a Girl Scout Cookie and Beer Pairing Event happening at Broxton Barrel House on Feb. 10, 2-7pm. This is a self-led pairing. For $15 you'll receive a flight of 4 taster beers, 4 cookies, and a tasting sheet to explore the flavor combinations and perfectly chosen partnerships of cookies and beer. Simply ask your bartender for the Girl Scout Cookie Pairing Flight!
You can watch the big football game on the big movie screen at RJ Cinemas (Eastgate) on Sunday, Feb. 11. Details say it starts at 6:30 and admission is free. The kitchen will be open as is the bar!

Photo of the Week:
We stopped in at the new Hurt’s Donuts (12110 Mason Rd.) a few weeks ago. I wish I could tell you how good the donuts were… but the line was about 25 people deep and we decided to return another time. I snapped a pic for you though!
Tell me if I should have waited! They did look GOOOOOD!
