FRIDAY EVENTS 📆 

Schutzenfest, America's oldest German Fest, will be at Kolping Cincinnati all weekend. Join in for authentic German food, beer, wine, entertainment, and MUCH more. Admission charged. Hours are Friday: 6-11pm, Saturday: 3-11pm, and Sunday: 1-9pm.

Jungle Jim’s International Market hosts an International Craft Beer Festival, June 14-15. With your commemorative tasting glass and your trusty tasting guide in hand, you’ll be welcomed into the festival by 400 beers from over 100 breweries. You’ll get to commune with like-minded beer enthusiasts, sample and sip all night long, and use your tasting guide to take notes on your favorites. Tickets required.

Italianfest is happening all weekend at Newport's Riverboat Row. Savor authentic dishes from local favorites like Pompilio’s and Alfio's Buon Cibo, plus food trucks offering delights like Chicken Parmigiana and Italian Hoagies. Family fun includes caricatures, face painting, and inflatables with a wristband. The festival features live music from both internationally recognized Italian musicians and local talent, including new acts like Dr. Zoot and Aaron Caruso Band, alongside favorites like Pete Wagner Band and Moreno Fruzzetti. Hours are Friday: 5-11pm, Saturday: noon-11pm, Sunday: noon-9pm.

SATURDAY EVENTS 📆 

Take a Summer Fun Tasting Tour at Findlay Market on Saturday, 2-3:30 pm. Tickets are $35 and include the cost of various treats from the following Findlay Market merchants: Bee Haven, Gibbs Cheese, Roth Produce, and Ruby's Chocolates.

The City Flea, a curated urban flea market, will blanket the lawn at Washington Park on Saturday, 10am-4pm.

Take a walking tour of the solar system at Deerfield Township's Solar System Walk on Saturday, 10-11am. Tours are led by teen volunteers and are wheelchair and stroller accessible. You can also enjoy information and activity stations with the Cincinnati Observatory. Free and open to all ages, tours leave every 5-10 minutes. Tours start at Shelter #1 at Fleckenstein Park.

Strap on your skates and enjoy the outdoor Sawyer Point Roller Skating Rink, 6-10pm. Skater favorite DJ Monet x BB Hutch will return for House Night at the Sawyer Point Rink.

Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park is hosting their Fishing Derby on June 15, 10am-2pm. Test your skills in a catch-and-release contest that kids and adults can enjoy together, and learn about healthy watersheds with Butler County Soil and Water Conservation District. All crafts and activities are free with park admission.

Cincinnati's 37th Annual Juneteenth Festival will be happening on Saturday at Eden Park, 12-9pm. The event includes a parade, family-friendly activities, history re-enactors, two stages with live entertainment, and more.

Head to Glenwood Gardens / Highfield Discovery Garden for a Fairy Tale Festival, happening Saturday, 9:30am-3:30pm and Sunday, noon - 4pm. Immerse yourself in a weekend filled with wonder and excitement designed especially for children. Meet beloved characters such as Robin Hood, Rapunzel and even a real-life fairy! Let your imagination soar as you indulge in face painting and hair braiding. Then, embark on daring adventures like climbing Rapunzel’s tower or testing your skills with a bow like Robin Hood himself! As you wind through Highfield Discovery Garden, stop by vendor booths for your own fairy adornments or grab a bite to eat at a local food truck. Tickets required and must be purchased online.

Cincinnati Art Museum's Art on the Rise event takes place at the Art Climb on Saturday, 1-3pm. This free monthly program, built on community partnerships, brings together live performances and art-making activities—with an abundance of fun for all participants!

Make some plans to enjoy the dads in your life! Things to do for Father’s Day in Cincinnati

Sunday is a Free Family Funday at Taft Museum of Art, 10am-4pm. These special days offer a new experience each time you visit. Music, art-making, and gallery engagements throughout the day are sure to inspire your young creators. The Burlington Antique Show is at the Boone County Fairgrounds from 7am to 3pm. Shop from 200 antiques dealers at this antiques and vintage collectibles show.

Dads get in free at The Cincinnati Zoo for Father’s Day, June 16, 2024. When you arrive at the Zoo, please let their employees at the turnstiles know that you are a father in order to receive free admission for the day.

Enjoy a free Firefly Hike at Mitchell Memorial Forest on Sunday starting at 8:45pm. Witness one of summer’s most majestic marvels, the synchrony of the fireflies. Be a firefly in their interactive game, walk among some of nature’s brightest creatures, and listen to the forest sing as the sun goes down. Meet at the Wood Duck Trailhead. TOURS OFFERED THIS WEEKEND: 🚶‍♀️ 

Take a free Public Tour of the Cincinnati Art Museum, offered on Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm. No need to register – meet in the lobby.

Union Terminal Rotunda Tours are offered by Heritage Program docents at Cincinnati Museum Center on Fridays – Sundays. During a 45-minute tour of the 1933 train station, docents explain the architecture, construction and art of one of the finest examples of the Art Deco style. Hear details about the world-famous mosaic murals. These limited capacity public tours are first come, first served and will depend on availability. Tours are free; there is a charge to park.

Rookwood Pottery offers Behind the Scenes Tours of Rookwood on most Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets required.
