The Cincinnati Reds will play at home against the Diamond Backs this week (Tues-Thurs.). Be sure to check out the 3-2-1 Tuesday special listed in Deals below. Thursday features “Business Day Specials”.

And while we’re talking about baseball, Florence Y’Alls Baseball kicks off for the season with a May 9th opening day. The first 1000 fans into the ballpark get an Opening Night hat.

Have some fun with Mom at Funky Sunshine’s Mother’s Day Tie Dye Party on Wednesday, 4-7pm. Make matching tie dye shirts at that you'll be able to wear together on Mother's Day! This event costs $25 per shirt being dyed. RSVP by purchasing your shirt size(s) on their website.

Cincy Hikes invites you to join in for two hikes this week. Cincy Hikes Mt. Airy Mondays is happening on, you guessed it, Monday starting at 6;30pm. Tuesday night’s hike is at California Woods and starts at 5:30pm. Click link above for details.

Best of Taste - Food Truck Edition will be on Court Street Plaza on Wednesday, May 8. Taste of Cincinnati will be hosting 25 trucks at Court Street Plaza and will be judging each for their "Best of Taste" awards. Come enjoy lunch and weigh in with your own favorites!

Tickets for Strawberry Days go on sale Monday, May 6. This event at Blooms and Berries Farm Market allows you to pick strawberries as well as enjoy the day on the farm (huge play area, farm animals, market, etc.). Strawberry Days run May 18 - June 2.

There’s a Quilling Class happening at Third Eye Brewing on May 9, 6-8:30. Tickets required.

Tickets open up on May 7 at noon for Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum’s June Public Tram Tour. Registration is required as space is limited. The Tram Tour is on June 5, 10-11:30am.

HighGrain Brewing opened a new location on Friday. Find it at the former home of Brentwood Bowl on Winton Road. After your beer, head just a little north on Winton Road and walk it all off at Winton Woods!

The Terrace Cafe at the Cincinnati Art Museum offers a Picnic in the Park option. There are many surrounding outdoor spaces to enjoy an intimate meal or snack, including the Art Climb and picnic tables by the reinstalled Pinocchio sculpture near the main entrance. All picnic packages come in a beautiful reusable Cincinnati Art Museum tote bag featuring the artwork In the Park by Frank Harmon Myers. Picnic in the Park dining options, which include Dining with Duncanson (lunch for two) and Cassatt Cuisine Bites (assorted cheese and snacks), are available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. Explore the full Picnic in the Park menu online. Packages must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance by calling (513) 639-2986.

Summer Gate Hours start this week at Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum. The gates will remain open until 8pm, Monday - Thursdays through August.

Taste of Cincinnati will be sure to fill your belly AND keep you entertained over Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-27. Taste is on 5th Street (downtown) and features 65+ restaurants, food trucks and Findlay Market vendors. More than 300 menu items will be available, along with a wide variety of beers and live entertainment. 

Summerfair returns to Coney Island this year! The annual juried art show will be there May 31-June 2. More than 300 fine artists and craftspeople from across the country will be exhibiting and selling works ranging from ceramics and sculptures to painting and photography.

The inaugural Great Parks Pollinator Festival is happening on May 18 at the Harbor of Miami Whitewater Forest. Explore educational exhibits, enjoy family-friendly activities, and shop unique spring crafts from local artists. Learn about the vital role pollinators play in our ecosystem and discover how you can support their conservation efforts.

The Butterfly Show at the Krohn Conservatory opens for the season on May 14.

Newport Aquarium has a Nurse Week Discount for all the nurses and healthcare professionals out there. The discount is good for $10 off general admission when you visit Monday - Friday (May 6-10 and May 12, 2024). You must have healthcare employment to qualify for the discount. FAMILY FRIENDLY 🛝 

The Holocaust and Humanity Center, in partnership with the Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, hosts “Little Acts, Big Impact: Mini Upstander Play Sessions” at Historic Union Terminal on Saturday, May 11 (10am). This special event series features fun, games, and songs led by talented artists from the Children’s Theatre. Each session will focus on highlighting a specific character strength, fostering a positive and engaging environment for children. As an added bonus, families who attend the session will be offered free admission into Cincinnati Museum Center Children’s Museum for the day, extending the fun and learning beyond the event.
