Sunday, May 12
Goodnight, Sunday.
The butterflies have landed!
The Butterfly Show at the Krohn Conservatory opened this weekend (and runs through August 18).
This year’s theme is “Butterflies in Space”. The show is inspired by the story of the caterpillars and butterflies taken to the International Space Station in 2009, where they successfully adapted to a zero-gravity environment and became known as "astro-pillars" and "butter-nauts".
⏰ Krohn Conservatory is open Monday - Sunday 10 AM to 8 PM (but be sure to check their calendar before you go as special events are scheduled and will effect those hours).
They ask that all guests, including members and pass holders, reserve a ticket before your visit. This will allow for shorter wait times and less crowding. There will be a limited number of 50 tickets at the door each hour. Door tickets are sold on a first come basis. If all tickets are sold for a given hour, guests will be asked to wait till the next open time slot.
